Hello, I’m Ashley.

It all started with Wisconsin Red, an heirloom dahlia that originated near Appleton, WI as a pass-along plant. After my mother and I had grown this variety for some years I realized that there were so many other dahlias I could be growing, too. Along came Café au Lait and other great classics such as Peaches N Cream, Larks Ebbe, and Jowey Hubert. Now, I grow over 100 varieties of dahlia as well as other great cutting garden classics such as iris, peony, sunflowers, zinnias, and more.

About the time my eyes opened up to the great diversity of dahlias I had decided it was time to start my own small business. I wanted to bring joy to people and was already a fan of supporting local markets. It was a natural fit. Local flowers have a way of bringing you into touch with the place you live and the seasons in a way that shipped flowers cannot. So, I began creating market bouquets grown with love, and without pesticides.
