Ode to the Waterlily form dahlia, ‘Ruthie G’

Dahlia Variety: 'Ruthie G'

• Introduced: 1978 by Bateman

• Bloom Size: 4.5 inches

• Plant Height: 4.5 feet

• Stem Characteristics: Long and strong,
ideal for arrangements

• Tuber Size: Notoriously small. Stores well.

• Form/Petal Arrangement: Swirls in a Fibonacci sequence. Waterlily form.

• Color: Hot pink.

• Personal Note: One of my personal
all-time favorites.

• Current Status: Blooming now, still
lovely. Saving seedpods from many plants.

• Aesthetic Appeal: Highly admired for
beauty in the garden.
