Variety Spotlight: Camano Honey

Introduced in 2005 by Ambrose, R. I can't understand why this wonderful variety isn't more popular. She's a beauty with whopping 7" textural blooms on a 4' plant.

Dahlia "Camano Honey" a large blooming golden bronze flower.

Camano Honey dahlia has large amber-gold flowers with soft petals. It grows 4 feet tall.

Dahlia “Camano Honey” is relatively rare. A treat in the garden or vase.

I do not know why we do not see more of this variety in the dahlia world. She’s generous with blooms, for being such a large flower. Absolutely will stop you in your tracks in the garden. The bronze color is perfect for dahlia season (transitions nicely between summer and autumn). You can hardly find sellers who offer it, though. Perhaps she’s a bit of a rare bird: a treat for your collection and a favorite of mine.

Dahlia Camano Honey. Rare, prolific, unicorn dahlias.
